TWINBEE! Wooo! A certain someone knows who this is.

So I found two very awesometastic games yesterday and today. My local Play n' Trade had Breath of Fire III and IV. For $16 a piece! Normally, these games go for $25 to $40 a piece but some ignorant person traded these in w/o knowing what he was doing and PnT had them at very awesometastic prices! LUCKY! :D

So last night was my last night of my five day stretch at Micheals and I am SOO happy. The holidays really brings out the mean in people and these last couple of days is proof. My managers and myself were just so irritated with the last minute shoppers but we all came together and made peace among ourselves afterwards. I get today, tomorrow, and Friday off. I go back to close on Saturday but we're FINALLY closing at our regular times! For the last two weeks, i've had to close at 11p and it was no fun. At least my paycheck will be awesometastic! :D

Hey family! I had an awesometastic time this weekend, save for the usual stuff at work. Nonetheless, this birthday was the best in a LONG time. I say this because this birthday, I realized something very important: I have some of the best friends and family in the world! I kept changing my mind on what I was going to do with my party since Oni-con was the same weekend as my birthday. I was thinking of moving it to another day so most could come but my dad said something to me about the situation that made sense: don't worry about the con goers. That phrase made up my mind and I decided to do it the day I wanted to. Hell, it was my birthday and if you were able to make it, cool. If you wern't, cool too. This weekend showed it didn't really matter because I have enough friends to make anything fun; I don't have to have EVERYBODY. Trying to bring everyone was kinda making me miserable because I was catering to them. After talking to dad, I said "fudge it" and catered it to ME.

This birthday also put a twist in my attitude. While at work on Friday, I had a VERY bold attitude; I wanted to take more risks and actually do more for myself and for my family and friends. I know staying at Micheals won't hardly get me anywhere so i'm going to do what I can to get out. I won't do what I did last year when I got out of Blockbuster (for those that don't know/remember, I quit BB before I went to Picture This Now and PTN didn't come until two months AFTER I quit BB). I'll have to get the other job, quit Micheals in a calm and cool manner and go from there. I'll see where God wants me to go so I will not rush it. As much as I hate retail, I have to stay and tough it out so I don't repeat late 2007 through early to mid 2008. I'll post more on this in my year in review post in the near future.

Now then! For my birthday, I managed to get my dad old laptop (the third in almost two years) and a new watch! My big sister burningheat_2dx got me a Code Geass messenger bag from Oni-con and Big John is going to get me some anime. :D Best. Birthday. Ever. Again, thanks to those that came! I really appriciated your company!

Needless to say, I lost. :)

How much I hate 4kids? I really do. With a passion. They effed up Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Sonic X. All of these are great shows yet Al Kahn botches them to the nth degree.

So I was strolling along neo-geo.com today and found an article about a man that created an android. I thought "okay, this seems kinda cool, I wonder what its like". I click the link to find Chi from Chobits on there and i'm like "What the frak is this iish?!"



So, it looks like we have a real life persocom android on our hands. I wonder what the next ten maybe twenty years will hold for us? Thoughts?

I passed my Spanish IV final with a mother freaking 92! I thought I was going to get out with a 74 or 75 but I got out with an 80.3 in the class! My GPA will REALLY go up now! Hecks yeah!!!!!! I know i'll get out with a B in geology so i'm happy either way.

Last night, I went to the TCC website to double check where exactly I had to be at for my wintermester class. For some reason, my spyder sense was going off and told me to look at my transcript and compare one of my English classes. Apparently, the English class that I was going to take for the wintermester was a class I had already taken two years ago. What threw me off was the name change! Okay, the class is now called World Lit from 1650 but two years ago it was called World Lit II. I caught my mistake when I looked at the course number cause they both said ENGL 2333. I went to the regstrars office and double checked this to be sure and they said it was the same class. I was slightly panicked but I was told that I could still sign up for my other classes in the spring. So, I dropped my winter class and decided to sign up creative writing I which is a Monday - Wednesday class (just like my other two classes at UNT). I'm going to have to take Biology in the summer and pray that I can do very well in there, so that I can graduate in time! Speaking of UNT, I need to talk to my advisor next year in regards to how many more classes I need and what RTVF classes I can take. If I pass these two i'm taking in the spring with at least a B or A, I can bring my GPA back up and I can take my internship at CBS or any other major network and go from there.

My mom and I talked about my mistake and I feared that we we're going to argue but we looked over my degree plan and I told her what I have and have not taken and she got a better understanding on what was going on. She kept telling me that I don't need to take four or five classes at once cause I couldn't handle them. I told her that was two years ago and I feel that I am ready to take more than three classes a semester cause I want to graduate and start my career! I also told her the reason for me having so much in the end is due to me being ignorant about the degree plan and being just flat out stupid in thinking that I could bullshit my way through college (from 2004 through late 2006). She finally understood my reasoning and she accepted it (finally!).

Now that I don't have to worry about spending money I don't have, I can go out and do my Christmas shopping for my family. My mom will get the new John Legend CD; my dad will get either a chef's apron with his name on it and a brand new flash drive; and my brother will get Halo 3 for the 360. I need to go out and buy my grandparents and great aunt birthday and Christmas cards! Since I have a job now, it shouldn't be too much of a problem! :D I can't wait!

Yulecon in its first day was a serious bust. I hope it'll pick up tomorrow. It was cool being able to play Guitar Freaks/Drummania after two years but other than that, meh. Here's hoping for tomorrow...
